Yoga for Children with Special Needs

Special Needs Yoga is a great way to work on skills that children with a range of developmental and emotional needs can benefit from.

Special Needs Yoga can help:

  • Develop muscle tone
  • Strengthen breathing muscles
  • Develop confidence and self esteem

When done as part of a group session, yoga can also help develop and practise social skills including imitating peers and turn taking.
